Tour of Santiago Island

The tour begins in Praia, Santiago's vibrant capital, where you'll get a quick overview of the city before hitting the road for an adventure across the island. The first stop is Assomada, a typical village in the island's central valley. This village is famous for its lively market, where you can discover local produce, fruit, vegetables and handicrafts. You'll also learn more about the history of the region, including its role in the island's culture and economy. Then it's on to the Parque Natural de Serra Malagueta, a nature park in the heart of the island's mountains. This park is a veritable reserve of biodiversity, with lush vegetation and spectacular scenery. You can take a short walk (depending on the level of the excursion) to admire breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding valleys and mountains. This site is ideal for nature lovers and offers a peaceful and refreshing experience. After visiting the park, you'll take the road to Tarrafal, a charming coastal village known for its magnificent white sandy beach and turquoise waters. Here you can enjoy a well-deserved swim at one of the island's most beautiful beaches. You can also stroll through the village and discover its quiet, welcoming atmosphere. On the way back to Praia, a stop at Santa Cruz is planned. This picturesque village offers breathtaking views of the coast and sea.
